And while Requena was targeted for death, an 18-year-old from San Pedro lost her life in a tragic accident.
It happened at around 11:00 pm on Friday evening when Reyes was riding in a golf cart driven by her friend Miriam Rodriguez.
At some point during that ride, Rodriguez who at the time was under the influence of alcohol lost control of the Golf Cart and ultimately injuring herself as well as her passengers. Bianca didn't survive.
We got more details from Senior Superintendent Hilberto Romero at this morning's press brief.

"Friday April 16, 2021, San Pedro police responded to a fatal traffic accident in the San Mateo area in San Pedro Town, they visited the San Pedro Polyclinic where they found the lifeless body of Bianca Reyes, eighteen years, who had received injuries as a result of the road traffic accident. Information is that she was a passenger on a golf cart being driven by Miriam Rodriguez who lost control and as a result she received the fatal injuries. Miriam Rodriguez was detained and has been charged for manslaughter by negligence and other charges. She was also charged for driving with alcohol concentration above the prescribed limit."

"Two other persons were injured and they are presently stable."
Miriam Rodriguez has since been charged with manslaughter by negligence. She appeared in court today but was released on a $7,000 bail. Rodriguez is set to return to court on June 24th, 2021.
