And while Paz was a victim of fate 44-year-old James Pandy was almost a victim of gunfire.
He's lived to tell the tale of escaping the gunshots fired at him on Mex avenue. It happened at about 7:12 p.m. on Friday evening when Pandy was making repairs to his vehicle. Here's more from Senior Superintendent Romero.

"On Friday 16 April, 2021 around 7:12pm police responded to a shooting incident on Mex Avenue where they found James Pandy, 44 years old, with gunshot injuries to the body. Information is that he was fixing a vehicle there along with another person when a male person came on bicycle and fired shots towards his direction causing his injuries. He is listed at the K.H.M.H. in a stable condition at this time."
