Later in that deadly Friday night, another man was killed. 22-year-old Alvaro Paz was driving on the George Price Highway when his vehicle collided into a freightliner truck. According to police, they're still unsure of which driver was at fault.

ACP Joseph Myvett, Head NCIB
"Also on Friday sometime around 8pm, police were called to an area between miles 39 and 40 on the Hummingbird highway where they observed a black BMW car and inside was the apparent lifeless body of Alvaro Paz, 22 years, and the vehicle was extensively damaged. A short distance away, police observed an orange in color freightliner truck that was south bound and shortly behind that was a white freightliner truck also that was southbound that was driven by one Levan Borland. Apparently Paz was northbound on the highway when the vehicle he was driving collided into one of those freightliner trucks, causing his fatal injuries. Borland was detained pending this investigation. At this point in time, I do not know whether or not he has since been released and an NIP served on him but I know samples were taken from him pending the outcome of this investigation as well."

"The name of the other driver is one Christian Guerra who was driving the white freightliner."

"Someone out of the two divers drifted more towards the center of the road, causing the accident and that's what we've been trying to establish."
