The police are in another "hairy" public relations situation - with Instagram hair model Joyjah Estrada.

As we told you, she and her family were in San Pedro last Thursday, when she witnessed her brother at the other end of a police officer's gun while they were out celebrating their father's birthday.

Her brother, Jahday Estrada, was wearing his mask improperly and was stopped by police. But instead of just receiving a ticket, he was allegedly shoved in the head by the officer, who then pulled out his gun. He was then detained for two hours.

Joyjah took to her Instagram - with half a million followers - to bring awareness to the incident in hopes that the officer would be sanctioned in some way - possibly even fired.

Her post got 60 thousand reactions, but hardly any from the ComPol who was tightlipped about it today. He said that the officer is being investigated.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"Well, that matter is being looked at by the professional standards branch, I have nothing more to say about it at this time the investigation is ongoing, and whatever the investigation yields then the chips are going to fall where they may. If the police officer is wrong then we're going to take action against the police officer."
