Yesterday, we left you with reports of a fatal car accident near St Margaret's Village. Tonight, we can confirm that 30-year-old Prince Charles Benjamin lost his life after the driver of the vehicle he was travelling plunged off the Hummingbird highway.
The death has devastated Benjamin's family, and today they were still in shock, still somehow hoping that it was all just a bad dream.
But, it's all too real, and sadly, Benjamin's young daughter will now have to grow up without her father.
Courtney Menzies travelled to his home in Unitedville and has this story.
Prince Charles Benjamin was getting ready to celebrate his 31st birthday in a month, but a fatal car accident yesterday evening took that chance away from him.
Benjamin was travelling from Armenia to St Margaret's Village with two other men when the driver lost control of the vehicle, and Benjamin was fatally injured.
Today, his immediate family in Unitedville was too grief-stricken to speak. His cousin, Jose Garcia, told us that the unexpectedness of his death has them lost for words.

Jose Garcia - Cousin of Deceased "It's something very sudden, everybody is very sad, because he was someone very outgoing, as other people would say the life of the party. You would never see Prince sad, or even if he was in pain he was a very tough person so he died fighting for his life. he's someone that loved life, he lived every moment to the fullest, a very giving person, he didn't have financially, but he was someone that if he could give his time and support he always would and everyone in the village know that. But the family is really, even up to now we're shocked. We keep seeing pictures and videos that we have of him and we can't believe it, we can't believe it, we still can't process it."
Garcia explained that it was around 3:30 yesterday evening that they began hearing Benjamin was involved in a car accident. Earlier that day, some friends had invited him out, but after the accident, the family thought it was something minor.
It wasn't until his sister and father visited the hospital that they learnt the true extent of the accident.
Jose Garcia "We heard from his sister that when they were at the hospital the driver, I think he broke his shoulder, and he was speaking and I think he said he felt the steering wheel wobbling so he took a peek outside and that's when he noticed his tire wobbling and as he did that, he said the tire fell off, he lost control, and that's when they flipped, that was it."
And while they aren't sure if he was wearing a seatbelt, they don't believe he was thrown from his seat on the front passenger side. Rather, they believe he bled to death from a large cut would on his right leg – his life lost before even reaching the hospital.
But one thing they know for sure is that they will miss that smile they loved so much.
Jose Garcia "He was very known to everyone around here, especially in the village, everyone loved him. Really peaceful, nice guy, the life of everywhere, and you can see on social media, everyone that speaks about him. I would say, we always look forward to seeing your smile, his smile captivated everyone."
The driver, Sean Guzman, sustained abrasion to the left shoulder, but had no broken bones. The other passenger, Greg Garcia, also had abrasions to various parts of his body, and a cut wound.
