And while Jemmott's family prepares to bury him on Saturday, a family in Esperanza is hoping to find their loved one alive. Peter Jones Jr, a volunteer firefighter, has been missing since Monday and the last message he sent to his family was sometime after 3 in the evening.

He promised his wife he was on his way home to her and their newborn baby, but he never made it. And his family is spending every agonizing minute hoping for some information that will lead to his whereabouts.

Today, we spoke with his father who said that it is completely unlike him to just disappear – and now his family is fearing the worst.

Peter Jones Sr. - Father "The last time we heard from him was Monday at 11:00. He came around and he left and a friend at the Shell Gas Station said he saw him around on his motorcycle putting in fuel and that was the last we heard of him. He supposed to have shown up to work and he hasn't shown up to work either but on that day he was supposedly heading home ot his wife because his wife recently have a new born."

Courtney Menzies "He's not the kind of person who would leave and not tell his family?"

Peter Jones Sr. "No, he would inform us about his whereabouts everyday and he is always texting my mom, my brother and me so it's strange that he just disappear like that. Peter, a lot of people know him, he always get along with everybody, all around, all over the place, everybody now him, he's well known in Santa Elena, he has a lot of friends."

Courtney Menzies "So, it's hard to suspect that somebody might have wanted to hurt him?"

Peter Jones Sr. "He didn't have any enemies with anybody, we don't have any enemy with anybody, so I don't think so, that anybody would want to hurt him but you know, behind what he does, we don't know everything about his business but as far as we know, he didn't have any enemies."

If anybody has any information, they are asked to contact their nearest police station.
