Police still don't know if a body found in southern waters was that of a narco-pilot. A post mortem examination on the "John Doe" concluded that the cause of death was multiple blunt force traumatic injuries to the chest and abdominal area. The deceased was in his late 40's or early 50's.
The body was found near Lark's Caye off Placencia which is also where the drug plane is believed to have gone down on May 22nd - but Coast Guard Divers have been unable to find it.
A post mortem was also conducted on the decomposing, partially dismembered body of Cecil Tillett. The Forensic Doctor could not determine the cause of death due to the advanced state of decomposition. Yesterday, Tillett's body was found floating in the sea near an island about ten miles south of Belize City. His left leg was missing. Tillett had been taken out to the island the week before by his employer to work as a security guard. Police do not suspect foul play.
