Manslaughter Not Murder in Death Of Julian Garcia

Julian Garcia was run over on Sunday night in Trial Farm Village - his family says it was a deliberate act of retaliation.

But, the police have said it was Manslaughter by Negligence.

They today charged the driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander, 29 year old Luigi Ivan Chable for Manslaughter by Negligence and Causing death by Careless Conduct and offences of Drove Motor Vehicle without due care and attention, Used Unlicensed Motor Vehicle and Used Motor Vehicle not Covered by Third Party Risk Insurance.

Much to Julian Garcia family's disappointment - it is not a murder charge - but investigators hands were somewhat tied because someone set the vehicle on fire after the fatal accident.
