
A deliveryman was killed in St. Margaret's Village this morning - and it happened right in front of his wife.
Early this morning, 55 year old Vicente Garanza and his 41 year old wife Celfa left out from their home in Valley Of Peace in their Isuzu Cargo Truck to go pick up vegetables in St. Margaret's Village on the Hummingbird Highway.
But, around 8:15, they were driving on a village backroad - when they ran into an outlaw roadblock manned by 6 men, all wearing baklava masks.
Three of the men went to the passenger side and three went to the drivers side. She handed over about $5,000 dollars in cash. But, it seems her husband pulled out his machete and tried to resist. She told police the men were searching her when she heard shots fired and ran over to find her husband bleeding out on the ground.
Ge died inside the vehicle where police found him with gunshot injuries to the left side of his body.
Police are looking for suspects.
