He was shot in the alley off Banak street on Friday morning, but by this morning, 38 year old Jervis Diamond Valencia had self-discharged, venturing back out onto the streets even though his assailants have yet to be caught.
This is at least the third time he's been shot. And while on the streets Diamond's seeming invincibility may earn him respect they're proving to be quite frustrating for the police.

"I know that recently, just before coming in here I received information that he self discharged from the Karl Heusner Memorial hospital. I have officers on their way to verify whether or not this is so but we know that we haven't made any arrests so far into that investigation. The persons that were detained of course after their time expired they had to be released by investigators but if needs be they will be detained again and we will see where that goes when we get an actual update on his condition and whereabouts."

"From a person it is alleged that that person self-discharge. You do the math and explain to me whether that person is cooperating with the police. If you discharge yourself from a facility where you should be receiving treatment and help, so for us to go an say he's cooperating it would be a little overstretched for want of a better word."
