This morning, Assistant Superintendent Fitzroy Yearwood, granted a briefing on the killing of Simon Baki. He said Baki had been drinking before he was killed:

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood - Director of Communications, ComPol's Office "Simon Baki, a 27-year-old, police went to a scene in Big Falls, when they saw Baki with a large cut wound. It is believed that Baki was in that area consuming alcoholic beverages earlier. He was attacked and received the injuries. He was transported to the Punta Gorda Town Hospital, where they pronounced him dead on arrival."

"Attacked sir, by one or more people?"

"Well, we cannot verify how many persons attacked him, but we know that he had two large cut wounds to the body, which we believe may have caused his death, noh."

Pau is expected to be arraigned for manslaughter in the Magistrate's Court, at the earliest convenience.
