But while Shyne Barrow didn't stay back at the voting compound to give an interview, he did take to social media. He wrote, quote, "The majority of the UDP delegates have spoken and they have said clearly they do not want Patrick Faber to remain as Leader of the UDP. Any self-respecting leader who cannot get 50% of the delegates' vote would resign." End quote.

And while he was very vocal about not supporting his party leader, one ghost of UDP past who shares Barrow's view is John Saldivar. Saldivar competed, not once, but twice for the leadership position against Faber. And he also took to social media to say quote, "More than fifty percent of the delegates voted against Patrick Faber. You have no mandate to lead. Step down, sir." End quote. He then proceeded to engage in back and forth arguments with those in the comments, including Faber's brother.

He also accused Faber of participating in shady practices in public office. Let's just say, it got ugly, real fast!

But even with all that public infighting, the chairman of the UDP, Michael Peyrefitte, believes that the party will be able to unite and come to a solution, especially since this type of internal fighting is not new.

Michael Peyrefitte, UDP Chairman
"Well there are key people who are never in support of anybody's leadership but it's all of our jobs to come together as one party, one organization, and sort it out and all of us recognizing that the real enemy is the PUP who has done a terrible job since November 11th."

Courtney Menzies:
"But do you think they will sort it out? I mean it's three members out of the five in the House of Representatives that said they have no confidence in Mr. Faber."

Michael Peyrefitte, UDP Chairman
"Well if they maintain that then that's their prerogative, they were elected by the people so if they maintain that they maintain that but whatever the situation is we have to one unified party going into the next general elections and if so being that you have one Leader in the house and one leader of the party that's what it was in 1984 and we won in a landslide."

"This is not something new, we've seen this movie before, I mean the PUP changed like 4 leaders in 5 years. There was a time when John Briceno got so upset with his PUP he was talking about bringing back the millions. So political parties go through this, you go through a rebuilding process, we had a tremendous leader for 20 years and once that person leaves then you're going to have some issues trying to fill that gap but fill it we must, fill it we will, and I have no doubt we will fill it in time to make sure we form the next government in 2025."

"I will reach out to all sides, now that's my job, to reach out to all sides and have us sit down and chart a way forward and I have no doubt that all those sides will be willing to participate because all the sides are, no matter what, UDP."
