Last night you heard from the grieving mother of 37-year-old Arilee Young. She spoke about the last few conversations she had with her daughter before she and her 17-year-old daughter, Sherane Cardenas, were murdered. And tonight, the mother of their alleged killer has her turn to talk.
Sherill Perriott is still as distraught and confused as she was on Saturday. She is still trying to put the pieces together to find out how that bloody morning unfolded, with her own son pulling the trigger and ending three lives - the son whom she knew never liked crowds, drugs, or alcohol.
Today she spoke with Courtney Menzies about the triple tragedy:.
Two mothers are grieving their children, both trying to untangle the circumstances that led to what looks like an apparent double murder/suicide.
And today, the mother of the accused perpetrator had more questions than answers. How could the introverted son she knew so well pull the trigger of the gun, ending the lives of a mother and her child? She said, she's still trying to wrap her head around it.

"Never one day I would believe this story going around about my son because I know exactly who is my son because my son wouldn't even harm a fly. My son is a king, a sweet little boy, he love everybody but he just keep away from crowd, he just doesn't like crowd. So I know my son, something have to wrong for that to come up because my son is not that kind."

"My son doesn't like weed, cigarette, nothing, so how in the world he would be going through abusive relationship or whatever when he is not that type, he is not that kind."
"Something have to happen, he get a phone call from Princess and he left from Princess, he have to get a phone call from there, my son won't level his jobsite just like that and walk home weird hours of curfew. He could have never done that."
But while she feels that something may have triggered him, she doesn't put blame on the victims - Arilee Young and Sherane Cardenas, whom she considered as part of her family.

"I just meet the daughter in law over phone, and my daughter in law, Arilee Young, she was so sweet over the phone to me, talk so sweet. I never one day say I meet Arilee Young face to face because I didn't know her, I know her over phone by talking. Her daughter likewise, by just one texting or by phone. I can't say anything negative towards them because my son was in the relationship with them. I do not know nothing."
In fact, her phone was the first she called when her son wasn't picking up.

"When I heard the news, I feel like my whole body done, I feel like I dead. Not my Glen, my Glen? Never one day, not my Glen. When I hear the news, I feel so weak, I get the news by my neighbor telling me about an incident that happened on 4th street Kings Park. I feel a belly pain and I say make I go call my son, because I see a missed call from him on my phone so I say make I go call him, and when I called him, no answer. I call his girl's phone, no answer, I call the daughter phone, no answer."
"So right there, I say you know what, I jump and I yelled, no! I start bawl because a feeling come over me when this lady was showing me the thing on Facebook, the house, I tell him I don't know where my son live because he didn't tell me, Arilee text me the address."
And the relationship she shared with her daughter-in-law was only going to grow, since both families had plans for the weekend - plans that were disrupted after Young failed to her vacation leave approved. A day off that her mother believes could have saved her life. They had hoped to celebrate two birthdays together.

"She said, mommy, I want tell you something, Glen excited about your birthday the 18th of August, she said I have a little money for you for your birthday, and Glen have something for you too."
"She said, we will do a little get together the Saturday because if I'm not mistaken it was one of her sister's birthday."
"She said and I will take you with to Cayo to meet my family because my family loves your son. So I told her, yes, babe, anytime you ready to take me, I'm willing because if my son love you, I have to love you too."
"She said get ready for 9 o'clock. Get ready for 9, never know that would've been the last of my son, my daughter-in-law and his step-daughter."
But now, she's just hoping that his phone will have some answers - if she ever finds it.
Sherill Perriott, Mother of Deceased
"I can't tell unless we find this phone. Whenever we find this phone, whosoever have the phone, please hand in the phone. All we need is information from the phone to see if he get a text or something if my son get it, a call or something, my son so sweet, I still can't believe it as yet."
Courtney Menzies:
"Arilee's mother, she's a nurse, she says she's wondering if the family failed Glen, if he was showing some signs of mental illness and they didn't see."
Sherill Perriott, Mother of Deceased
"Never one day, never one day. My son so sweet, never one day, mental what part? I love how the lady talk about my son because only a mother could know their children, I love how the lady talk about my son, I love she for that, my condolences goes out to she and to Arilee and her daughter, to the family. Regardless of what took place, I love them both and I really would want meet the lady face to face for us to talk."
And she's also asking for the social media speculation to stop, since there was no reports of her son ever abusing Young.
Sherill Perriott, Mother of Deceased
"Social media, Facebook posting, they need to look up good before post things about people that they don't know because I can't just judge you and post fool about you. If you don't know the person, don't comment. If you don't have anything good to say, don't comment."
"Never one day my son tell me he and his lady have problems. Never one day. If I say something like that, I'm lying, and anybody else out there that is talking what they don't know, they have to turn the pages before, you don't judge a book by the cover."
Young's mother said she believed that the couple had been dating for about a year and a half.
