Two More COVID Deaths

Tonight, two more Belizeans, a man, and a woman have lost their lives to complications caused by COVID-19.

And while the rollout of the Pfizer vaccine rushes forward, Belize's Covid count grows more and more dire with today's Ministry of Health report listing 3 ICU patients and 127 new confirmed cases. Those statistics bring the country's active cases to 952 countrywide and a daily positivity rate of 6.82%.

The greatest number of those cases currently remain concentrated in the Belize District with Belize City reporting 57 of them.
