Over the weekend the Ladyville and Lord's Bank area was shocked by the discovery of a lifeless body labeled a John Doe.
But tonight his family has come forward to identify him. He's Belize City resident Kevin Andrewin. A man who traveled to Lord's Bank to see his son but turned up dead after what seems to have been a brutal attack.
The cops told us more today:

"Police responded to a scene on Friday, the first of October around 7:50 P.M. in Lord's bank village. Upon arrival they saw the lifeless body of a dark complexion male with apparent stab wounds to his body. Initial investigations reveal that at about 7:30 PM persons in the area heard someone screaming for help and upon making checks they discovered a male person unknown to them, no.This person has since been transported to the KHMH and we are asking the general public's assistance in trying to identify this person."
Earlier today ASP Yearwood told the media that investigators sent out a photo but at the time he'd yet to confirm Andrewin's identity.
