Bicycle Man Killed in Biscayne

Last night, just before 7pm, a road traffic incident left one man dead. 39-year-old Mark Anthony Faber Jr was riding his bicycle between miles 27 and 28 on the Philip Goldson Highway, in Biscayne Village, when a Mazda pickup truck collided into him. The driver of the vehicle, 39-year-old Evelio Alvarez told police that Faber swerved in front of his pickup, and while Alvarez tried to avoid him, it was futile. Faber was rushed to the KHMH but succumbed while receiving treatment.
