And moving now to news about COVID, we have seven new deaths to report today. It's likely the highest one-day total we've seen this year, and what's more concerning is that three of the patients were fully vaccinated.

Three were unvaccinated, and one had one dose. But of the 55 hospitalizations, 31 are unvaccinated, and 17 are fully vaxxed, while 7 have only had their first dose. 18 patients are also in the ICU, ten of them unvaxxed.

There were 321 new cases reported today with 84 in the Belize District, followed by 77 in Stann Creek and 69 in Cayo. The total active cases is at 2,710 and the deaths have climbed up to 449.
