And today both the accused murderer, Kareem Beeks and the man allegedly caught with what could be the murder weapon, Darrell "Tutsi" Usher went to court.

27-year-old, Beeks, who is an Ex- BDF Volunteer appeared unrepresented before Magistrate Khiana Gordon in court #1 A single charge of murder was read to him.

He was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until December 29, 2021.

And 39 year old Darrell Tutsi Usher was escorted to court around 1:00 after being in custody since Saturday afternoon. He was arraigned before Magistrate, Khiana Gordon in Court #5 without any attorney present, although attorney Dickie Bradley has already filed bail application forms on his behalf.

Two charges were read to him, one count of kept A Glock 19 firearm without being granted a gun license for it along with 4 live rounds of ammunition for the same.

Usher pleaded not guilty to both offences and was remanded to the Belize Central Prison until December 28, 2021.

His bail application is set to be heard as early as by this Friday, October 22.

Usher - who is an ex cop - could face additional charges in connection to the weapon - which is licensed to a woman police officer. He says he was helping the police to recover the weapon - and has witnesses to corroborate.
