Dangriga Resident Killed In City

A Dangriga resident met his demise miles away from home, on M&M Street in the Lake Independence. 34-year-old Alexander Murillo was at a friend's house on Holy Emmanuel Street and left around 8:00 pm. He walked onto M&M Street and that's when a gunman fired shots at him. He was rushed to the hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Residents in the area said they had never seen Murillo before, suggesting that he recently came to the city. Police are investigating this latest murder.
