We asked the Health Minister about this objection from the PSU.
He justified it by saying that other countries have already moved in a similar direction to get their public servants immunized:

"If you take a look and you see what's happening with the cases in this country, the number of deaths that we are having, the vast amount of people who are dying are people who are unvaccinated. We continue to believe in vaccination. We continue to believe that it is your first line of defense, and so certainly our public servants, our essential workers, who are out there with the public the entire day, all day, we need to protect them. As you know, Marisol, across the world, governments are moving to make sure that the public servants are fully vaccinated. And so this is in line with reality global trends."
