Another man was killed last night in a road traffic incident. 39-year-old Amilcar Sanchez was on his motorcycle around 8:38 pm when he collided into a vehicle driven by 27-year-old Kerwick Samuels.
Samuels told police that he was in front of Leslie Imports on the George Price Highway when the motorcycle, which was traveling in the opposite direction, came out of nowhere and crashed into the front-left portion of the vehicle. Sanchez was conscious at first, but later died while receiving treatment at the KHMH.
And on November 10th, there was another traffic incident between miles 12 and 13 on the George Price Highway that took the lives of a couple. Andres and Martha Penner were in a van with other members of their family when they lost control of the vehicle. The van was totaled, and the passengers rushed to the hospital. Andres Penner passed away on November 14th and his wife, Martha, died the day after.
