And when they're not tracking planes, police still have their hands full. A man was reportedly found bludgeoned to death in Dangriga on Tuesday, but the police haven't classified it as a murder as yet.
60-year-old Canadian National Jeffrey Richard Louis' body was found in his home after he wasn't seen for a few days. Police are now investigating his cause of death and today they gave us some preliminary details.

"On Tuesday, December 7th 2021, police responded to a report that a body was in found inside a house off in Melinda road. Upon the arrival, police observed that the door to the house was slightly opened and inside they found the decomposed body of a male person, that male person was identified as Richard Jerry, 60 years, Canadian national at the said address. Investigation is that he lives alone, someone tried to get in touch with him and when they could not, they visited the home and found his body inside the house. At this time, we are awaiting a post mortem examination and then that will tell us more that we will move from there."

"Were there any signs of foul play?"

"He was observed to injury to the body yes."

"The report that he was tied up?"
Sr. Supt. Hilberto Romero
"I will not go into detail as to how the body was found, we are presently doing an investigation so I will reveal any details until the post mortem is concluded."

"Do you know the last time he was seen alive?"

"He was seen alive 3 days prior."
Louis was reportedly living in Belize for a decade.
