And switching gears, there was a broad daylight shooting in the city at ten this morning.
The victim, 25-year-old Lejean Rhamdas, otherwise known as Casper, had parked his black Equinox in front of the "Prolific Minds and Heart" carwash right here on Albert Street and was inside the yard. That's when two gunmen men came from out of the alley across the street and fired a barrage of shots.
Rhamdas was hit but he sprinted down the street, passing two lanes, until he finally collapsed near Anglican Cathedral College. He was rushed to the hospital and is in a stable condition. Police arrived on scene moments later and canvassed the area. A security camera was near the shooting and we can safely assume that officers will be looking at the footage to see if it captured the incident. Apart from expended shells, police also found live 9mm ammunition on the scene.
