There was a compound accident this evening at around 5:30 on the George Price Highway. No one was killed, but 3 persons were seriously injured with broken limbs.

It started with a grey van that lost control and barreled off the road at mile 15. The van rammed into the iron and concrete foundation of a billboard, and both the driver and passenger were flung out of the cab unto the shoulder of the highway - resulting in a number of broken limbs.

That caused a traffic bottleneck with all the passing drivers - staring at the carnage. That's when another accident happened where a man on a motorcycle was knocked down by another vehicle. He was flung to the pavement and also sustained serious injuries.
