A Booth Burned?

Police booths inserted in crime hotspots are one of the police department's favorite keen jerk reactions to crime. But, our experience has shown that many times these booths are mostly un-manned.

When there was a spike in crime in Dangriga at the start of this year - where a minor was killed - a booth was installed in the Back-A-Town area of the southern town.

But, it seems that it was not manned around the clock, and tonight, reports say that it was consumed by fire at 2:00 this morning. Police have not responded to requests for comment on this.
