And by this evening there was another fatal motorcycle accident, this one claiming the life of 27-year-old motorist Kirk Ramclam Jr. who died after colliding with an SUV at Mile 21/2 on the Burrell Boom/ Hattieville Road.
It happened at about 2:20 p.m. when the driver of the SUV 65-year-old Samuel Flores saw Ramclam's bike on the approach. He claims to have felt an impact after which he lost consciousness and says that when he came to he found that he'd crashed his vehicle into a lamppost.
Flores was transported to the KHMH but Ramclam, whose bike was found next to the SUV, seems to have died on impact.
