And from urban crime to rural crime, a successful pig farmer from San Jose Village is trying to find out who might have set his farm on fire. Pablo Bol told our colleagues at PGTV that his entire family had left the village over a week ago, and when they returned, their pigs had been killed in a fire.
But while Bol suspects arson, he doesn't know why someone would want to target him. However, we know that cases of arson in small southern villages are common, especially between residents who have some sort of issues with each other. There is speculation that someone might have been jealous of Bol's success.
Bol explained more - and we warn you, the story does contain an image that may disturb animal lovers:
Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"This happened on Monday May 25. What we did at that time, we chartered a vehicle and we went to the poly hospital in San Antonio, all the family went."
Reporter
"What time was that?"

Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"That was 10am and then we came back at 1pm. Between 10 and 1..."
Reporter
"You came back and what? Did you see smoke, what happened?"
Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"From far when I was at the junction, I saw smoke. So I didn't think it was a pig pen or whatever, but when we came along here and then we saw the smoke is happening at my pig pen. So we came and saw that it was already flames and we couldn't not anything. The pigs were already dead; two at that side and 2 at this side."
Reporter
"How many pounds each one of those pigs had?"
Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"Two is 250 and the next two is 280, those are 7 months old."
Reporter
"And do you think that somebody set your place on fire? its the rainy season, so more than likely it would be arson."
Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"That is what I suspect too, because there were heavy rains at that time and early in the morning around 7 to 8 or 9 that's rain and then when the rain stop that is when we made our way to San Antonio. So I think fire could start by itself. I believe someone came and set the fire. I cannot blame no one, because I can't pinpoint."
"I started raising pigs since 5 years now and I haven't had any problems at all."
Reporter
"You have been a successful pig farmer."
Pablo Bol, Resident, San Jose
"Exactly. I have spread this news to surrounding neighbours here. I have sent messages telling them in case they heard any news or any information they could let me know. I want to get the accurate information and from there I could do the report to the police station, but so far I haven't received any information almost a week now."
He says that he has reported it to the agriculture department but not to the police as yet.
