And from Uh's death investigation to BDF soldier, Micha Miguel's - we asked the ComPol for an update. Last week, the Head Of CIB told us interviews were being conducted. Well, Williams said they're still in the process of that to rule out homicide.
But, the family has accepted that Miguel killed herself - what they want to know is if those who allegedly pushed her to that point will face any consequences?
However, the ComPol told us that it's unlikely there will be criminal charges for the reported assault considering there is no complainant.
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"At this time, we're at the same stage of the investigation, it is still being ruled as a suicide, nothing to rebut the fact that it's a suicide. I know that investigators are interviewing a number of persons just to make sure that it is suicide but at this time, we no reason to upgrade from suicide to homicide."
Courtney Menzies:
"Even if it a suicide, if investigations prove the allegations of the father that she was sexually and physically assaulted, can charges be laid, even if it was a suicide?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"That is dependent on many different factors so the probability of that occurring would be extremely slim."
Reporter:
"What is the police department's role in this investigation? I know that there are allegations of sexual assault and misconduct but to what degree is the police department involved in the probe?"
Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"It is going to be difficult to pursue that angle because if there was any such unwarranted sexual encounter against her, she is no longer alive, who is going to give the story? So, the law requires that we have a complainant and she is not around to do that so it would be extremely difficult."
Miguel was buried on Thursday and her family claims that she was sexually assaulted while on camp as a recruit.
Two persons from the Ministry of Human Development and Families have been dispatched to assist the BDF with the investigation.
