And earlier in the news, we told you that the cause of Uh's death was a heatstroke, caused by being locked up in the van, which had basically turned into an oven under the sweltering sun.

But there was speculation that perhaps Uh had been assaulted before he was detained in the van. It wouldn't have been surprising, given the police department's track record, but this morning on Sunup on 7, the ComPol had said that there was no indication that Uh had any injuries. Still, he had mentioned they would wait for the post mortem result.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"There is no evidence at this time to suggest that he was beaten. Nonetheless, whenever the postmortem is conducted, it will tell us more. And so whatever decision is made will have to be done after the postmortem examination because we'll have to see what the cause of death is. What if, and I'm not saying this is the case, but what if he was killed before being placed in the van? Right so, again, if it is that he died in the van due to poor air circulation then I think it will be asphyxiation due to poor air circulation. If the post mortem were to reveal that he had some bruises or some broken neck or something then that would tell a different story so we have to wait for the post mortem to be done before we look at the next step, we don't want to put the cart ahead of the horse at this time."
