Senior Citizen Found Dead On Roadside

An elderly man was found dead on the side of road just outside Dangriga yesterday evening. Around 5:20, police got a call that a decomposing body had been found in a drain off the highway at mile 4 on the Stann Creek Valley Road.

Police found a fully dressed male with no visible injuries who was later identified as 71 year old Jesus Canales a Honduran Labourer who lived nearby. A post mortem examination will determine the cause of death.
