Minister responsible for police, Kareem Musa was at the passing out ceremony when PC Arzu was first welcomed into the police fraternity as a new recruit. But, now, she's another statistic.

On the adjournment of today's House meeting, Opposition Leader "Shyne" Barrow challenged the police minister once again for not having answers to the country's ongoing crime problems.

Here are his public condolences to PC Lorray Arzu's loved ones:

Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs

"Madam Speaker if I may first of all in responding to the Leader of the Opposition pay my respects as the minister of home affairs and to wish my heartfelt condolences to PC Arzu. She was a member of squad 95 which was the first squad under my tenure as minister of home affairs to graduate to pass out and so that one certainly hit me heavy, because as everyone in squad 96 knows we promote only the finest in our department and they were certainly and are certainly exceptional characters that we produced and so I give my heartfelt condolences to her family, to her mom. I spoke with her yesterday, this is devastating not just to the family, but to all members of the Belize Police Department. We are mourning this loss very, very seriously."
