And while Banner's family is hoping she will wake up, the family of another woman who was innocently shot in a vehicle is planning her funeral. 27-year-old Police Constable Lorray Arzu was shot on Wednesday as she sat inside a pickup truck in Dangriga. She wasn't the intended target, but she was hit in the head, and after three and a half days on life support, she passed away.
Today, the police gave us an update on her case. According to ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, they don't have a suspect in custody as yet, but it has been upgraded to a murder investigation.

"Any update on the person who was accompanying her?"

ASP Fitzroy Yearwood, Police Press Officer
"He's still hospitalized, he's in a stable condition, and we are waiting to properly interview him to see if maybe he could remember something on that scene that would be able to help us solve this murder."
"We have received several tips but like I said, we believe that after a proper interview with the survivor, we might be able to identify that person. so we're just waiting for him to be released or cleared by doctors."
PC Arzu had just joined the Police Department in December of last year. The other victim of the shooting was 45-year-old Lionel Rowland.
