He's a soldier - but when he turned into a police detainee, Lieutenant Freddy Grijalva got militant - and started cursing the police with a lavish stream of f-bombs.
Footage has emerged of Grilava's rant - when he insisted that police had slapped him. It was captured by a police officer in the hall of the PRECINCT 3 police station where the Lieutenant made it emphatically clear that he had been slapped and taken advantage of - we have bleeped out the profanity in an epic rant:
That was 30 seconds; 90 seconds of a longer want was captured.
And while Grijlava would have to make a complaint to the Professional Standards Branch about that alleged beating he got, police did charge him for his outburst. He was arrested and charged for assaulting a police officer, using insulting words and disorderly behavior inside the police station. He was granted station bail to appear at court at a later date.
