Young Child Abducted in Orange Walk

Tonight, a little girl from Orange Walk is back in her mother's care after an alleged abduction lasting several hours.

The mother Mimi Novelo has posted on Facebook that the child was abducted by a strange woman offering her sweets. Her post says, quote: "I have found my baby girl thanks to the police and a teacher from St. Peters [...] please my daughter was taken by a stranger telling her she will give her ice cream…please let's be on alert for our kids." end quote

Police received the report and immediately responded and around 4:00 p.m. they found the child at the park.
