41-year-old Moses Almendarez isn't afraid to say that he has broken the law. When he was 13, he killed his first victim, and had been terrorizing the country for years after. But after 15 years in prison, and finding God, he says he's changed his life for the better, working to take care of his two kids.

But he says the police don't believe that he's turned over a new leaf, and they've been harassing him and others in the Antelope Street Extension area. But more than that, he claims they've also threatened to kill the men in the area - as well as their children.

Almendarez told us today that he knows he's hurt a lot of people in his past, but he's trying to do good now, however, the police have driven him to his wit's end. And after being detained from Monday to last night, he finally came to the media to plead with the department to leave him alone.
