US Donates Specialized Medical Equipment

And, one change of wardrobe later, the Ambassador was at the Western Regional Hospital this afternoon handing over 1.3 million dollar in specialized medical equipment.

As you heard, the two donations were both made through the U.S. Southern Command Humanitarian Assistance Program. Since 2021, Southcom has donated ventilators, a mobile field hospital, medical services and supplies worth over $3.5 million US dollars to the Ministry of Health and Wellness.
