And since one of the key advisors in any criminal investigation is unavailable, how well are the police building their investigative file? There has been much public criticism of the cops after it was learnt that Marco Vidal went to question Elmer Nah's neighbor before they did. The Commissioner said that for good reason - they cannot publicize every detail of their investigation:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police

"And as the commissioner I am assuring the public we are doing all we can. We have solicited assistance from the US Embassy through the regional security officer, in terms of enhancing video footages and other stuff. I am not going to divulge everything, but there is a lot that we are doing because we, just like the public want to bring successful closure to this very heinous crime that had occurred with the Ramnarace brothers. Because we do not say everything that we have done or are doing in any investigation that we are not doing it or have not done it. Let me say that it would be unethical of us to divulge to the public everything we do in an investigation and it will go beyond unethical when it would put the lives of our witnesses at risk. So, we need to be careful at times what we ask for. Let's say hypothetically, those people who lives at that house had indeed given to the police video footage that could have assist the prosecution of the perpetrator of the triple murder, would the public want me or the police or any other police to divulge that we have obtained such surveillance footage? I don't think so."
