And in other news, an Indian businessman is recovering at the hospital after he was robbed and stabbed in broad daylight on Saturday morning. 34-year-old Deepak Katariya was exiting a store at the corner of Cemetery Road and Euphrates when he was attacked and his bag which contained a cellphone, a calculator, and an iPad was stolen from him.
According to police, the assailants had been following him throughout the day.

"Upon their arrival, the came upon one Deepak Cataria, thirty-four-year-old businessman, who reported that he was doing a business transaction in the area when he was approached by two male persons, one who held him, and the other proceeded to inflict stab wounds to his chest area. Quick police response led to the detention of one person who had a bag. When it was searched it contained the stolen items that belonged to Deepak Cataria. Thereafter, one other person was detained and the investigation is ongoing. At the end of the day, we'll have charges for these persons."

"Were they waylaying Mr. Deepak? Do police know if they were following him or anything?"

"The information we've gathered is [that] yes, they were following him as he did business runs in the city."

"What condition is he in?"

"He is in a stable condition."

"Police are looking for anybody else?"
Hilberto Romero
"We are looking for one more person in regards to this robbery."
After the attack, the culprits tried to escape in a Chevy Equinox which was parked on Mosul Street. They were intercepted by the police, after which they tried to escape on foot, but one of them was caught behind the old Novelo's Terminal. Notably, a 10 inch knife was also found on Vernon Street, and it is believed to be the weapon used.
