And turning back now to the Manslaughter trial against Kareem Martinez, we're looking at the multiple inconsistencies in the timeline that various police witnesses have put forward.
One of those witnesses is the diarist on duty in Placencia on July 14th, 2021. This morning she told the courtroom that she made errors in her entries that night and that times logged could be skewed based on whether she'd been looking at the office computer or her personal cellphone. According to her there was a variance of a few minutes between those devices.
And in more of our interview with Laddie's foster dad, we got his opinion on the issues with the timeline.
Emil Bradley, Laddie's Foster Dad
"You know, one part of it I can kind of understand because as a diarist with my experience, it is not as you get a report, or something happens, you can make that entry in the diary, it would be the closest time that you have to make that entry, so I can understand the timeframe but when you come and you are talking about you misnumbered, that is something completely different, now two persons, two police officers on the same date signed for the same firearm, what are you telling me about this mien, I don't want to say anything yet because really I am not happy at this time but I don't want to lose it. Mien, it's such a shame to see what police officers go through to cover for innocent life, not someone who was giving them trouble, this was someone who was innocent, and they are covering up to that extent, man I don't know what to."
