Today, a minor and an 18 year old were taken to court and charged for dangerous harm after they allegedly beat up an SJC student who was walking home on Princess Margaret Drive.
It happened on Thursday the ninth of March and was all caught on camera when the students were attacked on their way home. Well, one of them, a 16-year-old, visited the Police Station and reported to police that he was attacked by several persons, one of whom he recognized as a 15-year-old classmate.
The 16-year-old was hit several times in his face and head during the attack where he sustained a swelling to the left side of his face and an injury to his lower lip.
His injuries were classified as dangerous harm and a 15, 17 and 18 year old were taken to court today to be charged for dangerous harm. The 18 year old Lennox Flowers and the two minors were positively identified in the footage.
Their attorney is Norman Rodriguez and he cautioned that there are two sides to every story:

Norman Rodriguez, Attorney for Accused
"They were arraigned and are to return to court on the 15th May. It will be a matter to be tried indicatable as was said in the court by the prosecutor. Again, I find it kind of strange because these young men, yes, they ended up in a fight in which 3 of them allegedly attacked the virtual complainant, but what the virtual complainant did not inform the police was that he first attacked one of the minors while in class, in school and continued to beat him when they came out of classes. This the precedent to the actual situation where he ended up being beaten allegedly afterwards."
Rodriguez has not confirmed if he will file a counter complaint.
