Last week, we interviewed a 16-year-old who shared his harrowing tale of how he was picked up by 4 police officers, beaten up, and dumped in a known gang area and forced to find his way back home. At no point was the minor's father called.

It could mean yet another black eye for the department, and one that feeds into the very same culture of excessive force and wanton cruelty that we asked the ComPol about earlier. For now, he said he knows of the incident and the PSB is currently investigating.

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"I did hear it on the news and PSB is looking into it. I will have to check with them and see how far they are with it. I had tasked them to contact the father and see if he'd be willing to give a statement, so that we can do the necessary follow up. I am not sure if that has been done, but I will follow up with them today and see where they are with it."

Reporter
"Is it a complain you hear often, because it's a complain we hear often."

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"No. Once upon a time, yes, but of recent, no."
