And while the COMPOL admitted to the excess of his officers, it may not be enough to appease Dyandre Chi's family.
This morning his older sister spoke with 7News to share a bit of who her brother was but also to make that familiar call for justice and to call out to the Commissioner for more serious action that he's demonstrated in the past.
Here's what she told us about what justice for Dyandre could only be for her:
Surian Chi, Sister Of the Deceased
"My little. Brother was not a troublemaker, he didn't drink. His only habit we could say was being around his friends causing around."
"I just wanted justice to get done because I have people telling me that the mobile that did this chase to my little brother was under the influence, and I need it. Well, at this point we can't even get it anymore but I would have really appreciated if we could have gotten a urine sale from those four officers that were drinking at such an establishment."

"I want to know why Chester has not given the names of the four officers that were involved in this, why don't they bring out their faces to the media but not make somebody kill or have it be something minor because right away they post names, they post age, they post pictures, where they are from all of that, we haven't heard anything about these four killers, I refer to them as four killers."
"As police officers they actually went on training and they should be experts in this to know the difference between a muffler and a bullet. Every time we have a killing in Belize, In Orange Walk, In Corozal wherever it happens, Chester just says they will deal with it, we can't even trust them anymore Ms, we can't."
Reporter:
"He says he's sending a team down to investigate what happened, do you trust that?"
Surian Chi, Sister Of the Deceased
"No, I do not trust the team that Chester is sending. Many witnesses say they treated my little brother like a dog. Lots of witnesses said it."
"I was actually in the crowd, I came out and we were in front of the station, making noise because we wanted justice. The police that we placed in uniform instead of protecting us are just killing us out, that is. all they do and Chester needs to know that he needs to put his dogs on a leash."
"Once and again, and again we repeat the stories and sadly, I am testifying it with one of my ones. I am testifying it with one of my own, my little brother my one and only."
