There were two fatal traffic accidents in Cayo over the weekend. In the second one, the victim crashed head on into a government pickup assigned to the Department of Youth Services - which was out on a Saturday night.
Police, however, glossed that over and said it was the driver's personal vehicle:

"On the 1st of April. Sometime around 7:30 PM police receive information of a accident that took place out there. Initial investigation revealed that William Swan was driving his pickup truck in the direction of Esperanza towards Central Farm when he heard a loud bang and realized that a cycle crashed into the front portion of his vehicle. The driver of the cycle was flung onto the highway and impact sustained severe head and body injuries. He has since been identified as Adrian Usher, 27 years. Mr. Swan was also detained and served with a notice of intended prosecution."
