A Fatal Accident On Holy Thursday

And while that man was killed early this morning, another man died later this afternoon, this time in a road traffic incident.

Good Friday is upon us, and if you're religious, that means a day of no movement out of respect and even fear of cosmic retribution.

But that bad juju may have started one day early when at least one driver on the George Price Highway lost his life in a fatal accident at mile 27 on the George Price Highway just past the Belize Zoo.

That accident caused a massive midday traffic log with all the Easter vacationers heading out of Belize City backed up for miles and miles.

The driver has yet to be identified and police have not stated the cause of the accident, but we'll keep following the story.
