And while the Minister of Transport seems to have a lot on his plate, his CEO is currently on vacation. That's after some tension flared up between the two when the Minister declared that no purchases above $5,000 could be carried out without his approval. But will Marconi Leal Jr be another PUP CEO that bites the dust? Ferguson said the choice is not up to him.

"I don't know at this point in time because the prime minister is the only who appoints CEO in every different departments or ministry, I know right now he's on vacation, when he comes back, the prime minister will say if there will be a change."

"I don't know, I guess it's less than a month."

"But would you want him back to work with you in the ministry?"

"I can publicly say that the relationship over the years maybe have, I don't know, severed, and so I guess they're looking for a new place to put him."

"Is it that you're not able to fix the relationship for the betterment of the ministry?"

"I can work with anybody so it's not an issue for me but I want to see the job get done at my ministry and I want it to get done properly."
