Police shot a man in Gardenia Village on Sunday night at 7:15. A call came in from a family member saying that 38 year old Wilford Dawson was behaving in a disorderly fashion in front of the village store.
When police responded, they said they tried to calm down Dawson, but they claim he picked up a piece of 2 x 4 and charged at the Police. That's when they shot him to his foot.
