US Donates Oxygen Machines to KHMH

And while the KHMH goes into the night with a very full emergency room, this morning there was no hint of the chaos to follow when U.S. Ambassador Michelle Kwan visited the Hospital.

She was there to observe hospital staff getting hands-on instruction on recently U.S. donated oxygen generators. The three oxygen generators are valued at 1 million Belize dollars.

A release says the country's biggest hospital will benefit from $35,000 Belize Dollars in monthly cost savings through the use of the generators. An oxygen generator is an industrial device that produces 95% by volume oxygen for hospitals and other purposes.
