Another week, another murder in Ladyville, tonight the once peaceful village is once again mourning one of its residents.
This time it's 60-year-old Armando Williams, who was today found stabbed and with a fatal head injury.
7News was on the scene shortly after it was called in and Cherisse Halsall has the story.
At about 11:00 this morning a man was found dead inside a house on Swallow street in Ladyville.
He was identified 60 year old Armando Williams, a man reported to have mental illness. He was found in bed with stab wounds to the chest, and a shattered plastic pan covering his face.
We spoke to his son Martin Williams on a very active murder scene and he told us that Armando certainly didn't deserve the end he got.
Martin Williams, Son Of the deceased

"He was a nice person, he never troubled anybody, he always kept to himself, always found something good to do, right, never. I never saw him as a person right, from when I was small he never treated me rough or anything. I was like a prince child and I have another brother who is working right now, I wish he could be here right now. He is Armando Williams, his younger son. I don't know what to say about this crime that happened at Ladyville because Ladyville is a village and we didn't have a lot of crime when I was growing up at this house here, you had friends neighbors but I am lost right now."
"I don't know who could really do him this stuff here, hurt him so violently right."
"Recently he always has a group of guys that hang here, drug dealers, well, they come and hang with him and we didn't tell them to hang they just come and I had to because I am a soldier, I'm Belize defense force and I chased them out of that yard many times, your causing problems with bringing you know bringing stuff at this house and police come and search you know, all kinds of stuff like that at this yard you know so we really don't know what is the motive behind all of this."
And while there wasn't much information at noon, we learned what we could from Sr. Supt Raymundo Reyes.
Sr. Supt Reymundo Reyes, Deputy Commander Operations, Eastern Division

"We suspect foul play. They visited this residence on Swallow street, um, where they saw the lifeless body of a male person lying in a fetal position in his bed and with what appears to be head injuries, so at this present moment the scene is being processed and investigation will be carried out to find out what actually transpired. After that then we will know what if anything was found to be or revealed to be a murder weapon if anything."
Williams leaves behind three adult children, two sons and a daughter.
