A Belizean fugitive has been caught in Guatemala. He is Sergio Pineda, who - according to Guatemalan media - was caught following an armed attack carried out in Rio Dulce, Livingston where one man was killed.
Police arrested Pineda and another man and recovered two firearms and a motorcycle. That is after the pair got into a shootout with the Guatemalan Policía Nacional Civil.
Pineda escaped from police custody in Benque Viejo Town one month ago.
He is expected to be returned to prison here in Belize - though he is Guatemalan born.
