And Barrow didn't stop there. He went further to reiterate for the umpteenth time that ComPol and the Minister of Home Affairs gotta go. He said that both of them have had enough time to reduce crime, but citizen security is still at an all time low, and the officers who break the law aren't helping.

I know he wants to be a politician, from what I understand, it's time for him to go. It is clear his lethargic performance, his making an excuse. I know he has a picture with the Prime Minister on his WhatsApp. And obviously the Prime Minister is having a terrible impact on him, because he has now become disconnected."

He was the chief ambulance chaser when he was in opposition. And he has just not shown up. He has not been able to deliver."

But this culture within the department to feel like they could get away with anything, they could harass people and use excessive force - they can sell drugs and get away with all of these things, that was bred over years, decades over both probably past PUP and UDP administrations. If that is taking so long to breathe that culture within the department, can it be expected of the ComPol to reverse it? I believe he's only been ComPol for maybe 5 years, I'm not too sure."
